TERMS OF USE
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (“IMM”) takes great care about the privacy of personal data and informing our users about the terms of use (“Terms of Use”) of the Website (“Site”) www.istanbuldesignmap.com where Istanbul Design Inventory will also be included as part of the activities of Istanbul Design Center and Platform.
The present text of the Terms of Use has been prepared to inform users who visit the Site and use the services of the Site about how the terms of use are applied.
Users who access the Site agree to the present Terms of Use, the Cookie Policy and the Personal Data Protection Notice.
Terms of Use:
- When using the Site, users agree, declare and pledge to abide by the legislation in force and not to breach the legal rights of third parties.
- IMM has the ownership of all information and written and visual content (“Site Content”). It can decide on the Site Content as it wishes, update it whenever it wants, change it freely, remove it or stop access to the Site.
- All products who have the quality of being a work as per the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, such as information, content, images, software, design, pictures, brands, logos etc. belong to IMM and/or third parties. These works are protected as part of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works. Any user who uses these works in a way to breach the rights, i.e. not using the works in the specified manner, will be held responsible.
- The user cannot intervene in, change, reverse engineer or do anything that would cause the dysfunction of the content of the Site nor the numbers and/or codes that represent the information included in the content.
- The user agrees, declares and pledges to not use without permission any brand or logo on the Site that belongs to third parties or to IMM.
- The user is totally responsible of themselves about the use of the content of the Site and the decisions taken as well as consequences incurred based on the aforementioned content. The user declares and pledges that they will not hold IMM responsible under any circumstances.
- In cases where the information provided by the third parties who use the Site turn out to be illegal, misleading, discriminatory or deceiving, and breach the rights of another person, including intellectual property rights, and relating to any direct and/or indirect harm incurred, IMM does not take any responsibilities.
- Terms of Use are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey and will be interpreted according to the law. In case of any disagreement emanating from Terms of Use, courts of the Republic of Turkey are authorized.
- IMM has always the right to unilaterally change the Terms of Use.
COOKIE POLICY
When you visit the website and interact and/or communicate, small text files called Cookies can be stored in your device. When you visit the Site, IMM automatically collects this data, which do not identify the visitor identity. Google Analytics, provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), is used as a digital analytics service in order to improve and make our Site more useful, effective and safe. Google Analytics is used to analyze the cookies to understand how visitors use the website. Each time you visit the website and/or interact or communicate with us, information about the access and use are automatically collected by Google Analytics, and cookies, flash cookies and website analytics are used as a means to obtain data. The data are then anonymized so that they can be used as statistical data. This information about your website use (including your IP address) are transferred to Google and is stored by Google in the servers in the USA.
